Elephant Experience :

Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Chalong. Travel to Siam Safari’s elephant camp in Chalong Highlands where information will be given on Thai elephants, their conservation and how you can help. Visit our young Elephant training center and meet our young Elephants. Learn about their development and why they are here with us, touch them and feed them their favorite snacks including bananas and watermelon and understand a little more of their situation in Thailand. Get hands on with our adult Elephants and prepare one of their daily feeds. Chop fresh fruits and vegetables and make natural vitamin supplements that aid their digestion before feeding them a portion of the 250kgs of food they can eat daily. Learn the secrets of their handlers and how they get on and off. Watch them play in our elephant bath before washing and showering them at the end of the experience. Visit our local farmyard to see how water buffalo plough rice fields, learn how to harvest and de-husk rice and about the different varieties available. Try a ride on a wooden cart pulled by buffalo before sampling local coffee and experiencing smells of our herb garden. Tour ends with a delicious buffet at our camp, a selection of Thai dishes cooked not too spicy. After this memorable experience return transfer back to hotels. Without a doubt the most unique experience here on Phuket Island.
